Comments: I had a very fun time a Jambo 2000. There were many things that I liked about it especially the repelling tower, the crafts, shooting off my model rocket, Mudorama (especially my dad doing his famous belly flop), splash park, having the concert, also the nice ladies at the tux shop going out of their way to make arrangements to open the Canadian Scout Store for our troop and the troop from New York to go to. I hade a very good time and I suggest that you go in 2002. P.S. to the troop from New York that was in Raven subcamp we hope to see you in 2002 --Troop 69 Greenville, Michigan

Repelling tower, Badge trading, Elvis, The Scott's (Scotland) awesome skits and great sense of humour. Meeting people from other countries. The feeling of Scouting Family. Tying Knots is something that I got hooked on at camp... and yes I have learned how to do a one handed bowline with my eyes closed. Skip I challenge you to do a one handed sheep shank with your eyes closed. See you in 2002 !!!

Comments: Another Jambo over and more memories were made. I had such a great time, I'd like to thank everyone who made it possible. I'd love to extend personal thanks, but that would take up way too much room. I would like to say thanks to the troops that fed me though. 1st Cooksvile, 1st Thistletown and Yale, MI. You guys rock. The food was awesome and the company was even better. I only got to see one campfire, but it was pretty awesome. Everyone was amazing, I can't say that enough. There were a few bumps, but they were just that-bumps. Nothing could spoil being back at Jambo with my "camp family" I always feel that I can be myself, totally and completely around the people at Jambo. The staff really does become a family, and we look after each other. Everyone became a family, actually. For one week, it didn't matter where you from, or what color your skin was, or what gender you were. You were there for Jambo 2002, and that made you one of us. Closing ceremonies was probably the best part. Being up on stage and seeing all those kids with their arms linked, regardless of race, gender or location made me cry. There was also the Susan Aglugark (sorry about the spelling) song that made me really cry hard. I never knew how much people cared about me until this camp. When push came to shove, they all stood behind me. Thank you all so much. This camp and the people that run it have been amazing for my self-confidence and self worth. I come away from that camp feeling better about myself every time. Okay, I'm gonna stop babbling now. I better see everyone in October for Wild Geese

Comments: Hi Everyone. This Jambo was the best ever. It was great seeing everyone having so much fun. That's what scouting spirit is all about. I'm really sorry I couldn't stay for the whole camp, but I am so glad that I made it for a few days. Jambo rocks every year Skip and it's all because of you and the rest of the staff. I feel so privileged knowing so many people in Scouting, and most of them I met through camps. I hope to see you all at Wild Geese! Bye for now and have a great scouting year.

To the rest of the staff, thanks for all the laughs and good times. And a special thanks to all the Scouts and their leaders - you all made our event a fun and sometimes challenging but very rewarding event. This Jambo had the BEST participants ever! Comments: I would like to thank everyone in Adventure village for making this a really great Jambo. Thank you to a great hard working bunch of people, who couldn't worked harder at making all the participants feel welcome. I would also like to thank Steve and Jim and company for the opportunity for such a great learning experience. When you consider it though, I have to think that the first aid staff worked more steadily than anyone else. I would like to thank them and all my friends for their care and concern during my time of silliness on the first Sunday of camp. A special thanks to Neil who made me realize I ought to visit the big house and my son Mike for coming with me. Thank you again for the greatest bunch I could have worked with. I had a blast. Hope to see you again when the Wild Geese fly. Having re-read this I see that I probably used great too many times, but what else could I use with such GREAT people at such a GREAT event.

Comments: February 25th, 2003. Just dropped by and wanted to say hi to all my friends out there in Scouting. I took a moment to glance at past entries in the guest book and I was fascinated to find entries dating back to 2001, commenting about what a great time they had at Jambo 2000 and that they were looking forward to 2002. Not a bad idea to date your entries so that readers have a sense of when you wrote. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to be a small part of this awesome undertaking that has enriched so many lives with Scouting.

Comments: another jambo over, and I really can't find the words to say how amazing it was. Again, the my fellow staff members never cease to amaze me at their commit to excellence. There were a few times (mainly in the rainy times) when the staff pulled together and made a good memory out of a bad situation. Everyone worked so well this week, I'd like to personally thank everyone in Adventure Village and the Tower, you guys did great this year. Someone said to me that the staff is a family, and it's true. After a week (more like two) of working, playing, fighting, and just being together, you become a family. Everything brings you closer together. Thank you especially to Skip, Jim Fox, Darrell Nicols, Tom Chalmers Sr, Tom Chalmers Jr, Lynne Norman, Ida Dobrough (and Al I guess), and Brian Hastie.

Comments: Jambo 2004! What can I say to express the great experience this event is. The younger lunch ladies turned Secret Agents had a great time and if we had to lose the air band in the finals I can't think of a better sub-camp chief to lose to than "Hot Lips" and Wolf sub-camp. Great Job guys the songs were great! It was really great to see all of you again. And the program areas were outstanding. Looking forward to the next time we are together. To our buddies in the 1st Cooksville group Great times...Great Fun! Captain Curlew, thanks for everything! and HotLips... "BULL RULES!" See you soon... Shawn

Comments: Another great Jambo put to bed. I would like to thank Ida and Lynne, the nursing staff, for taking such good care of me (again). This was my fifth Jambo and I'm afraid I'm becoming one of their steadier customers. The staff as usual, was great. Though next time, we'll probably have to look for smaller people. More staff, just littler. Region will probably start getting annoyed if they have to repair the stage after each Jambo. Thanks again to Skip , Jim and the rest of the steering committee for their efforts and many, many hours of planning. I'd also like to thank the first time and the younger staff who politely listened to my memories of previous Jambos, and sometimes even smiled. I'm looking forward to the next one. See you then.

Thanks again to everyone and hello to all the repeat offenders who came to 1st aid station to see if there were any gummie bears left. Take care everyone, vaya con Dios
